Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) announced this week that former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will give the opening keynote address at its 2013 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo. Washington, D.C. — Today, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) released its annual list of the top 10 states for new LEED certifications in 2012, highlighting those regions that are transforming buildings and communities across the country.

Washington—The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) opened the second public comment period for the proposed 2012 update to its LEED green building rating system. The comment period, which will close on Sept. 14, is the next step in the continuous improvement process and on-going development of the LEED program.
