Centiva promotes Doug Young to VP of sales

Following an announcement that Centiva will join forces with Tandus Flooring, Young was appointed to lead the Centiva sales team. Bentley Prince Street names Ralph Grogan president and CEO

City of Industry, Calif. – The board of directors at Bentley Prince Street today announced the appointment of Ralph Grogan to the position of president and CEO, effective immediately. Grogan brings more than 30 years of relevant experience in the carpet industry having served in senior management positions with several carpet manufacturers, including chief operating officer of Tandus Flooring. Tarkett has recently acquired Tandus Flooring, which allows expansion into the commercial carpet business in North America and Asia Pacific and enhances each company’s ability to provide customers a broader range of products and services. The transaction closed Sept. 28.

Mohawk's Joe Foye receives Smrekar Award at CRI annual meeting

The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) held its Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton. Tandus captures two gold awards at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada

Tandus Flooring’s NeedleTech Collection and DV8 turned heads during their debuts at NeoCon 2012 and the attention hasn’t stopped there. The NeedleTech Collection, Best of NeoCon winner Gold in broadloom, received another Gold award in the respective category at this year’s IIDEX and was the only winner in the category. Tandus issues Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for ethos products

Dalton—Tandus Flooring is the first in its industry to publish EPDs for its ethos Modular and Powerbond ethos Cushion under the new Product Category Rules (PCRs) for flooring recently issued by NSF International. Developing and publishing EPDs demonstrates Tandus Flooring’s commitment to transparency, accountability and third party validation of environmental product claims, all consistent practices within company’s Infinity Initiative. Tandus Flooring currently is working on additional EPDs that could launch within coming weeks resulting in approximately 95% of the company’s US products having EPDs. Tandus strengthens global management team in Asia

Tandus Flooring welcomes Stuart Schuman to the Tandus Flooring Asia marketing team in the role of Asia Marketing Manager. Stuart is based in the Shanghai, China office of Tandus Flooring and reports to Roger Ray, President of Tandus Flooring, Asia.

Among his new responsibilities as Asia Marketing Manager, Stuart is responsible for Asia-wide branding and promotion of Tandus Flooring to include marketing deliverables, events, as well as showroom identity and standards. IICRC hosts carpet industry meeting

Vancouver, Wash.– The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) recently led a series of meetings with carpet industry partners including the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI), Mohawk Flooring, Shaw Industries, Tandus Flooring and Professional Testing Laboratories (PTL). Tandus supports wounded veterans

Dalton ­– Tandus Flooring has named retired Marine Master Sergeant William “Spanky” Gibson as executive consultant.  In this advisory position, Gibson will work as an integral member of the Tandus Flooring Government Team in support of business development with government agencies nationwide.  Gibson was the first above-the-knee amputee to return to ground combat operations in Iraq and was the first enlisted service member to be appointed as a Congressional Fellow to the U.S. House of Representatives, advocating for wounded warrior initiatives on the House Committee on Veteran’s Affairs.
