Recycling effort exceeds expectations at Surfaces 2012

Dallas — Being green is no longer a trend or fad – it’s a way of life. This was dramatically demonstrated last week at the recently completed SURFACES | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas (S2). For the first time, S2 partnered with Mountain Re-Source Center and Tile Partners for Humanity on a recycling initiative focused on post-show product donations at the close of the three-day event, held January 24-26 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Midwest Interiors wins big in All-Tile contest

Las Vegas—Ron and Rich Raming came away winners in Las Vegas—something not many can say—as the owners of Midwest Interiors in Edina, Minn., took home the grand prize of a new Ford Mustang as part of All-Tile’s annual Drive-away contest. Mannington returns to Surfaces with new offerings

Earlier this month, Mannington CEO Russell Grizzle told FCNews during an exclusive interview the company was returning to the main show floor at Surfaces, Jan. 24 to 26 in Las Vegas. His reason? “We are having one of the largest product launches at Surfaces we’ve had in a long time…and being on the show floor is the best place to do that.”
