Invista names new regional managers for Stainmaster

Paul Adamske, national service manager, has accepted the role of regional manager for the Central U.S. territory. Sean Quigley, strategic account manager, has accepted the role of regional manager for the Eastern U.S. and Eastern Canada territories. Adamske and Quigley will work closely with Stainmaster strategic account managers to promote growth of the Stainmaster carpet fiber platforms and retailer programs.

“Paul and Sean have proven records of achievement in leading efforts to expand and support the Stainmaster carpet brand while servicing our Stainmaster Flooring Center and Stainmaster Showcase retailers,” said BiBi Lovell-Gadd, senior manager, specialty retail expansion team.

Stainmaster website receives makeover

“We’ve redesigned the website with a significant focus on our customers,” said Saakait Mathur, global director of interactive marketing for Stainmaster. “The site upgrades feature enhanced content to educate consumers about Stainmaster, improve lead generation to retailers and simplify the navigation so visitors can get to where they want quicker.”

The new website offers multiple points of entry for visitors to get content about the entire portfolio of Stainmaster products—not just carpet. With an improved store locator and new product browse feature highlighting the brand’s partner mill carpet styles, consumers can find retailers in their areas that offer products they want.

RSAs honored in Stainmaster PetProtect contest

Kennesaw, Ga.Invista is awarding $1,000 each to nine retail sales associates (RSAs) in North America who participated in its aligned retailer Stainmaster PetProtect photo contest.

“We thought the contest would be a fun way to recognize RSAs for their support of Stainmaster PetProtect carpet,” said Melissa Minihan, vice president of marketing for Stainmaster carpet. “Every day, RSAs are educating consumers about the unique benefits Stainmaster PetProtect carpet offers when it comes to solving pet issues in the home. We’re pleased with the product’s success in the marketplace and appreciate RSAs for sharing our story with their customers.”

Entering the contest was easy. RSAs had to strike a pose with their pet wearing a Stainmaster PetProtect carpet pet tag and upload the photo to a special website. Invista announces executive promotions

Kennesaw, Ga. — Invista Surfaces, parent company of the Stainmaster brand of carpet, has announced two executive promotions.

Invista has promoted Maggie Bidlingmaier to vice president of its residential business. Bidlingmaier joined Invista in February 2014 as vice president of the retail channel. In her new role, she will be responsible for leading all strategic efforts to drive growth and innovation in the residential business, including capitalizing on the company’s capabilities to build a strong platform to maximize the value of the Stainmaster brand. She will continue to report to Dan Haycook, executive vice president, Invista Surfaces.

Former director, retail channel for Stainmaster, T.M. Nuckols will take on a newly created role as senior director of product strategy. Nuckols will be responsible for all product development and channel product strategies for residential. This new position will help Invista drive faster, more efficient product innovation across all Stainmaster products and channels.

“T.M. has an excellent record of delivering business results,” Bidlingmaier said. “I am confident that in his newly expanded role, T.M. will use his 25 years of experience and expertise to continue driving value creation for Invista, retailers and consumers.”

Jeff Honkonen, sales director for residential, will continue to lead the direct mill team and drive strategic partnerships with mill customers. “Jeff’s extensive industry knowledge and strategic relationships with the mills are critical success factors in ensuring our long-term growth,” Bidlingmaier said.

Stainmaster training videos win award

The Aurora Awards is an international competition designed to recognize excellence in the film and video industries. The videos were produced by the Stainmaster Retail Learning Center in partnership with Georgia-Pacific Television and Photography.

Stainmaster promoting pet carpet at Westminster

Stainmaster logo Kennesaw, Ga.—Stainmaster will promote its new PetProtect carpet and cushion system at the Westminster Kennel Club show in February.

 PetProtect is the official carpet of the 138th annual All Breed Dog Show.

The company says the carpet and cushion system resists most difficult pet stains and easily releases pet hair when vacuumed.
 
It will be featured in the WKC purple color at designated areas at Pier 94 and at Madison Square Garden during the show on Feb. 10-11.
 As part of the partnership, the brand is holding an Unshame Your Pet Photo Contest hosted on its Facebook page for a chance to win a trip to the show.

Invista debuts Stainmaster system targeting pet owners

 The product, called PetProtect, is a carpet and cushion system that is designed to resist pet stains and aids in vacuuming pet hair.

John Lewis is in a very enviable position these days as the Tuftex-Shaw sales rep for Venecia and Palladia, the hugely successful collections crafted from Stainmaster TruSoft nylon.

“I tell my wife when I get home at night, ‘This is our house-payment maker,’” said Lewis, who represents RC Willey in Salt Lake City.
