Spanish Tile Association launches competition

Screen Shot 2013-09-04 at 2.13.33 PMMadrid, Spain—The Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association (ASCER) is launching the 12th Tile of Spain Awards in Architecture and Interior Design.

 Architects, interior designers, landscapers and decorators of any nationality are eligible.

 As a requisite, the works submitted must use floor and/or wall tiles of Spanish companies as the main element in formal part of the building or project.

Tile of Spain wins award for Ceracasa’s Absolute collection

Cevisama 2013: Cool character, nostalgic updates define ceramics

Valencia, Spain—In the 1960s, Bob Dylan sang about boots of Spanish leather, but in the 21st century, praises are being sung for Spanish ceramics and tiles. The 31st edition of Cevisama attracted approximately 70,000 visitors from 78 countries to shop the latest stone, ceramic, and sanitary ware and building and design solutions from 673 exhibitors. The Reign in Spain stayed mainly on the ceramic plane
