Shannon Specialty Floors unveils new visual floor designer

Milwaukee, Wis.—Shannon Specialty Floors has launched its new interactive online visual floor designer. Available on Shannon Specialty Floors’ website, the new design tool allows users to select from 12 commercial room scene options and integrate with any of the company’s 18 collections of commercial flooring solutions.

Visitors to the site can experiment with different color combinations and patterns of the company’s resilient sheet, luxury vinyl tile and plank, and PVC free products. Visitors can also choose to upload their own room scene to visualize the products in at no additional cost.

“Being able to actually see our product offerings in different spaces is an immaculate design tool,” said Jeff Collum, president, Shannon Specialty Floors. “We hope designers, architects and contractors alike enjoy the design tool as both professional research and personal enjoyment.”

Shannon reignites Teknoflor with new Coastalscapes HPD resilient sheet

Milwaukee, Wis.—Shannon Specialty Floors, a high satisfaction, high performance manufacturer and supplier of flooring in the commercial market-segment, has added Coastalscapes High Performance Design (HPD) to its Teknoflor brand of resilient flooring.

Teknoflor Coastalscapes HPD was named as a testimony to its purpose: high performance design with superior wood visuals. The product was designed to mirror the wood plank floors of years past with a composition made to function with today’s priorities.

Coastalscapes HPD is composed of virgin PVC with no outside recycled content and is free of phthalates. It has passed testing with impressive performance including no visual appearance difference after 25,000 cycles against the Phillip’s Castor Chair Test and stain resistance.

The product has a published HPD available on both the company and HPD-Collaborative websites.

Shannon Specialty Floors appoints new representation in Texas markets

Trinity Surfaces will represent Shannon products within the Southern Texas markets including Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Gabriele Flooring Solutions will represent within the Northern Texas markets including Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco and El Paso.

Both agencies will begin selling the full line of Shannon products, including its Tuf Stuf, Teknoflor and new PVC-Free BareNaked lines, within the Texas markets immediately.

Shannon partners with Spartan Surfaces

Spartan Surfaces will position three agents with Shannon products in Illinois including the greater Chicago area. This partnership will include the full line of Shannon products, including Teknoflor, Tuf Stuf and barenaked brands.

“This partnership was bred out of a unique opportunity we saw that would benefit both parties,” said Jeff Collum, president of Shannon Specialty Floors. “Both Shannon and Spartan have a strong presence within this market and together, they become complementary, efficient and very well respected.”

In addition, Shannon has extended the representation of its products with Design Materials, a Pasadena, Calif.-based independent agency. The agency began selling the full line of Shannon products earlier this year within the Southern California markets. The agreement will extend Design Materials’ representation to also include the Las Vegas, Arizona and New Mexico markets.

Shannon Specialty Floors appoints government, national accounts manager

Hughes joins Shannon after having spent the last 20 years in the resilient flooring industry. Most recently, he led efforts in managing Metroflor’s national account/federal government business.

“P.J. is one of the most effective government/military specialists in the field today,” said Dale Carson, vice president of national accounts and international sales, Shannon. “His reputation is spotless and there are very few places in the government that he is not known and respected.”
