Orchid closes U.S. operations

Tulsa, Okla.—Orchid Ceramics announced after nine years of bringing designers and consumers innovative and creative porcelain and ceramic tile for floors, countertops and walls, the company will be closing its current U.S. operations. Spring introductions: New products, innovations blossoming

Much of the U.S. may still be struggling to escape winter temperatures but the calendar says it’s officially spring. A time of rebirth and hope, not just in nature, spring is when consumers air out their homes and take a look at how to get the glum out of the house. Orchid opens new distribution center

TULSA, OKLA.—Orchid Ceramics has opened a 150,000-square-foot distribution center in Sunrise, Fla. The facility will be distributing the company’s porcelain lines and selected ceramic products throughout the Southeast.
The building is capable of holding 500,000 square feet of tile on a monthly basis. It houses several truck docks and is even equipped for customers to pick up their tile given they have a common carrier or company truck and pickup numbers. Continue reading Orchid opens new distribution center
