Las Vegas—Las Vegas Market and The International Surface Event have partnered for their upcoming 2018 shows to benefit the retail and design community. The partnership between these two entities will facilitate cross shopping by buyers in related home product categories and run concurrently in Las Vegas. The Winter 2018 Las Vegas Market runs Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, at World Market Center Las Vegas, and The International Surface Event runs Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

Each organization will cross-promote the partnership to its attendees, including interior designers, as well as retailers who sell or specify flooring, stone, countertops, surface materials, and home furnishings.
Las Vegas—The winter 2014 Las Vegas Market, which ran from Jan. 26-30 at the World Market Center, marked its highest attendance in its nine-year history. The number of buyers was up 21%, and the market itself was 850,000 square feet larger.
The show focuses on home furnishings with an emphasis on furniture; however, several large rug manufacturers participate in the event, including Oriental Weavers, Nourison and Mohawk Home.
A summer market will run from July 27-31 at the same location.

Surya recently announced the expansion of its Las Vegas Market presence. Launching during Summer Market at the end of July, the home accessory brand will move from its B370 location to a greatly expanded location at C400. The new 30,447 square foot space will provide the company with a 400% expansion from its previous showroom location.
