J&J Industries announces new corporate VP of sales

Dalton – Bill Crosley has been named corporate vice president of sales for J&J Industries, a leading manufacturer of commercial flooring.

Mohawk's Joe Foye receives Smrekar Award at CRI annual meeting

The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI) held its Annual Membership Meeting on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center in Dalton. J&J celebrates Family Day

DALTON—Surrounded by laughing children, live music and mingled voices, the associates of J&J Industries heard the sounds of friendship and camaraderie as they enjoyed the mill’s 2012 Family Day.

The event was a celebration of the company’s 55th anniversary and was held at the North Georgia Agricultural Fairgrounds. More than 900 associates and family members attended the festivities.

J&J names Townsend vice president of sales

DALTON—J&J Industries has hired Brad Townsend as corporate vice president of sales. His responsibilities encompass all selling efforts for the commercial carpet mill, along with training for the company’s sales team.

Aqua-Chem, J&J team up for wastewater purification project

KNOXVILLE, TENN.—Aqua-Chem, a global water solutions company, announced that it has developed an innovative solution to removing dye and chemical additives from industrial wastewater used in large-scale carpet manufacturing. The results of an industry-first pilot project with J&J Industries conclusively demonstrates it is both practical and economically feasible to remove dye and other additives from industrial wastewater, and to reuse the water in carpet dyeing in an environmentally innovative process. J&J Industries honored for eco initiatives

DALTON—J&J Industries has been honored with a 2010 Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Award by the Coalition for Government Procurement. J&J received the award in the Green Contractor category.

According to the Coalition for Government Procurement, the Green Contractor award goes to the builder who has made the best overall commitment to the environment by either offering environmentally friendly products and services, or adhering to environmentally sound manufacturing and operating procedures.
