Dalton — Invision, a company of J+J Flooring Group, has launched www.jj-invision.com, a newly updated website with inspirational design materials and galleries for products, projects and case studies. The online resource allows easy navigation on any computer or mobile device.
The robust and feature-rich website presents a complete library showcasing every product and colorway in swatches, room scenes and installation perspectives. Technical, specification and sustainability information is available, as well as a list of educational programs and CEUs. The database and photography is searchable and downloadable in a variety of formats.
Invision’s BEYOND blog will feature design and sustainability news and features written by Invision contributors and guest bloggers. Photography throughout the website can be easily pinned to Pinterest or shared on social media or email.
“The website is an all-inclusive, easy-to-use resource for anyone specifying, purchasing or researching modular and broadloom floor covering,” said Ross Leonard, J+J Flooring Group vice president of marketing. “Blog stories, inspirational photography and new products will be continually added to provide a dynamic, up-to-date resource to the specifier, end user and contractor.”
Dalton — Ginger Gilbert has joined J+J Flooring Group as director of business development for the Corporate and Hospitality segments.
Gilbert will identify and drive inventive marketing, product design and sales programs to create holistic segment strategies and capture market share for the Invision and Kinetex brands.
Gilbert previously held roles in the flooring industry including global creative director of commercial brands, design manager of healthcare, education and government, and color development coordinator. Gilbert worked as a senior interior designer for Taylor & Associates Architects, Newport Beach, Calif., and an interior designer for FKP Architects, Houston.
“Ginger brings strong experience, skills and drive to J+J,” said Ross Leonard, J+J Flooring Group vice president of marketing. “Her work in interior design, product design, sales support and marketing will be a valuable asset in elevating recognition of J+J as a product, solution and thought leader within the corporate workplace and hospitality segment.”
Dalton—BuildingGreen has named J+J Flooring Group’s Kinetex as one of its Top 10 products for 2014.
The winners will be presented at the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Greenbuild convention in Philadelphia on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Dalton—Georgia state officials, working with the carpet industry, launched the Fast Track Innovation Program to provide technicians with on-the-job training. The 10-week program—developed by the Northwest Regional Commission, Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Governor’s Office of Workforce Development—is being offered to individuals selected by the companies. Dalton—J+J Flooring Group said it has assumed full-time operational responsibilities for its EcoCycle/Aquafinity industrial water reuse system from Aqua-Chem.
