Hunter Douglas promotes Malone

Pearl River, N.Y.—Norm Malone has been named vice president of sales and marketing for Hunter Douglas’ fabrication division. He previously served as vice president of corporate marketing programs for the window fashions manufacturer.

“Norm has played a vital role for our company in helping to develop, implement and manage an important group of marketing programs that enable Hunter Douglas dealers to attract more consumers and increase sales of our products,” said Marv Hopkins, president and CEO. OPERATION REBUILD: The end of August saw five states—Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut—hit by Hurricane Irene resulting in extensive damage to residential and commercial establishments. Hunter Douglas' VP of sales receives medal of honor

Upper Saddle River, N.J.—Sergeant Major Thomas M. Morrissey (USA Ret.), vice president of sales at Hunter Douglas, was honored on Friday, July 22 at The Medal of Honor Gala: In the Company of Heroes event hosted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation at The Sanfilippo Estate in Barrington, Ill.  He received The Courageous Spirit Award on behalf of all wounded warriors.  Morrissey joined Captain James A.
