Centiva promotes Przyborski to creative director

FLORENCE, ALA.—Centiva has promoted Leigh Przyborski to creative director, brand and design. Przyborski joined Centiva in 2004, and most recently served as senior designer where she led the development of the company’s new web and social media presence in addition to its latest advertising platform.

During her tenure, Przyborski has also worked extensively in the development of products. “Leigh brings a wealth of experience to her new role, where she’ll manage the marketing efforts of Centiva as well as lead the company’s product design and cutting departments,” said Thomas Trissi, the resilient mill’s president.

Florence, AL – Centiva is pleased to announce the promotion of Leigh Przyborski to creative director of brand and design, effective October 1, 2012. Centiva finalist for Green Corporate Citizen Award

Florence, Ala.—The City of Florence, Alabama honored Centiva by nominating them for a Green Corporate Citizen Award, sponsored by Greenstar Recycling. Rachel Mansell, Education Outreach Coordinator for the City of Florence stated, “We nominated Centiva because they are a forward thinking company that realizes that sustainability and “being green” aren’t just ways to market their brands; they are ways to cut costs, boost profits, and help the environment along the way.” Centiva is active in local community environmental efforts including Adopt-A-Mile, Shoals Earth Month, Inc., Florence City Schools Litter Critter Contest, and a recent sustainable beautification project. Resilient’s green message keeps growing

While the carpet industry gets the bulk of the headlines when it comes to environmental stories, it doesn’t mean the rest of the flooring industry is standing by and watching. The resilient category, for instance, has plenty to offer in the way of eco-friendly programs, from incorporating various types of post-consumer materials into products to using alternative energy sources to power factories, the industry is leading by example and architects and designers in general are taking notice.
