Bellavita’s wall tile factory first Chinese manufacturer to achieve Green Squared certification

H-Line - G2Vancouver—Bellavita Tile, a leader in design and innovation for the North American tile industry, is the first manufacturer with tile production facilities in China to achieve Green Squared certification under ANSI standard A 138.1. Certified by UL Environment, this is a noteworthy achievement for the company as well as for the entire tile industry in China.

Green Squared is North America’s in-depth, multi-attribute standard for the tile industry. It applies directly for compliance to many materials credits in the newly revised LEED v4 building certification program and other green building plaforms, as well.

“One of our core strategies has been to marry the key strengths of Chinese manufacturing practices with top European machinery and operations,” says Mike Ward, VP of sales for Bellavita. “Achieving this certification goes a long way towards proving that Bellavita is a leader not just among Chinese manufacturers, but also on a global scale. We are very proud, to say the least.”

Bellavita Tile delivers Dolomite Series to marketplace

Dolomite AntiqueBrownVancouver — Bellavita Tile announced it has delivered the Dolomite Series to the marketplace. The Dolomite series is a linear mixture of glass with natural marble mosaics presented in four soft, subtle earth tones; escarpment light, antique brown, bianco cararra and diana royale.

Dolomite mosaics are mesh-mounted on 12 x 15.5-inch sheets. The products’ offset mix of individual mosaic sizes interlocks from one tile to the other. The series is ideal for residential projects such as backsplashes, bathroom walls, fireplaces and more but may also be specified for commercial applications particularly in hospitality and retail installations, the company stated.

“Dolomite is a great feature installation product. Its natural colors readily coordinate with any interior designs, offering a subtle yet stately look,” said Mike Ward, Bellavita’s vice president of sales. “The different sizes of glass and marble mosaics combined together create a spontaneous and organic installation every time.”
