Whitefield, Maine — Since 1989 ProKnee has been serving the needs of flooring installers with its complete line of custom made kneepads available in 17 lengths.

After 25 years ProKnee has grown into the No. 1 kneepad brand that professionals in the USA, Canada and around the world prefer. It all began with the Original Model that sold for 18 years and offered several patented features. After adding several more patented features to the kneepad in 2007, the Model 07 was born.

ProKnee is now introducing its newest patent pending hybrid version of the highly successful Original Model and Model 07—The Model 0714 Standard and Model 0714E Wide.

The company said the fit and function of these two new models have been upgraded to make the offerings even more unparalleled in performance with longer lasting quality that its customers have come to expect and trust.

“Our intentions are to give you the benefits and performance in our kneepads that you will not find in any other kneepad on today’s market,” said Lee Richards, president. “We guarantee that these kneepads will perform to your expectations. Every purchase of ProKnee custom made custom fit kneepads comes with a 30-day ‘we guarantee you’ll love them’ money-back guarantee.”

The new frame design allows assembly using either the standard width kneeseat or its newest wide knee seat, which allows ProKnee kneepads to fit a broader range of customers. The width is determined by the “C” measurement around the widest part of the user’s calf muscle. “The new frame set up also features many new, customer driven, improvements accumulated in our 25 years of selling kneepads,” Richards said.

It starts out with frame components that are ribbed throughout and coupled together in a way that gives close to 50% more tensile strength to the weight distribution structure; allowing more weight load with less deflection along the kneepad contact area.  We then fully integrated a boot plate that will extend the wear of the rubber boot, while providing a flat surface that guards kneeseat ribbing from the rubber boot.  Next, we incorporated the angle on the front end of the frame so “walking” on your knees becomes more natural.

Lastly, we combined the lower strap and buckle mount into a modular, curved cuff component (strap/buckle mount)that was designed to pre-shape and protect the anti-twist cuff; thus reducing rotation and wear.

Both Model 0714 and 0714E will be available through ProKnee’s distribution channel, at proknee.com, or by calling 800-549-5018.
