Vancouver, B.C. — Nuheat’s David Orr has been named CFO of the Year by Business in Vancouver and the Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Selected for his performance in the Small Private Company category, Orr will be honored at the annual Business in Vancouver‘s CFO of the Year Awards in May.

“David’s 10-year role as Nuheat’s Chief Financial Officer has been paramount to the company’s success,” said Kevin McElroy, Nuheat president. “David has enabled Nuheat to grow and sustain a competitive advantage in the marketplace.”

The 2013 BC CFO of the Year honorees are chosen based on performance relating to corporate growth through strategic decision making. Professional performance and execution, sound business principals and reporting are also important factors in the judging process.

The 2013 winners will be featured in the April 30th issue of Business in Vancouver and honored at a gala dinner at The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel on May 15, 2013.
