FLORAtlanta—FLOR, a high-end area rug brand, has launched its Winter Collection to usher in the season’s interior trends. The collection embraces mixed materials, rich textures and a “timeless aesthetics” for customers to curate their own design style.

The Winter Collection features launches including:

  • Modern maze: Curves are in. This area rug style is meant to allow customers to add a modern twist to interiors with clean lines and curved shapes. Available in Flint and Dune.
  • Drawn to you: Is there anything more timeless than neutrals? This area rug style is designed to bring calm and comfort to any room. Available in Bone and Midnight.
  • Clouded view: Add richness, warmth and depth to your space. This area rug style features deep browns and mulled reds—an easy way to integrate on-trend colors into a space. Available in Bone/Spice, Bone/Dune, Bone/Tawny and Bone/Nimbus.
  • Crossed signals: Whether the area rug is an accent piece or the main attraction, add a splash of color with this playful style. Available in Bone/Maize, Fawn/Tundra and Bone/Black.

“Our Winter Collection features a mix of bold patterns and subtle accents to help our customers find their design expression,” said James Pope, general manager at FLOR. “At FLOR, we believe your area rug should be able to handle daily life and do it with style. That’s why each tile is crafted from durable, easy-to-clean materials, so that your rug can stand up to everyday messes and grow alongside you.”

The newest collection also features fan-favorite styles at a reduced price—including It’s Snow Problem, Trade Winds, Tuxedo Pocket and more.

Winter social spotlight: A fresh design perspective

The brand’s guest stylist for the winter season is Diane Rath, owner and principal designer of The Rath Project. Rath collaborated with FLOR to style a family home with her favorite FLOR rugs and accent pieces. The spotlight is meant to showcase Rath’s rug choices, plus her tips for creating a home that brings out the unique personality of each family member—keeping in mind form and function.

“Working with the FLOR team for the winter catalog photoshoot was a really fun process,” Rath said. “When designing family-friendly homes, I often turn to FLOR for its durable yet playful rugs. Once we chose each rug, the process of layering in all of the other design elements started and we infused our own style and spin onto it—the space turned out great!”
