FCNews unveiled the winners of its fourth annual FCNnovation Awards—an initiative designed to recognize and showcase some of the most innovative new products and technologies launched in the current year. These awards honor groundbreaking ideas and industry-changing concepts that have impacted flooring across categories and verticals. The technology winners below were chosen among several nominees.

technologyQPay
QFloors

During a time when consumers are looking for ease in everything they do and scammers are looking to take advantage of those around them, QFloors took an innovative approach to tackling both issues.

The result? QPay. This innovative feature is a new in-house payment processor from QFloors. The product features a plug-n-play terminal setup, meaning it doesn’t require an IT expert to attach to the QFloors system. The “Pay Now” features gives users the ability to add a “Pay Now” button to their website or invoices, allowing for quick and easy payment options.

It also features surcharging abilities, eCheck options, upgraded security, easy returns and tokenization capabilities (for credit card payments, including American Express).

Digital Retailing
Broadlume

When it comes to shaking up the status quo with innovative programs, Broadlume has it covered. Take Digital Retailing. This program aims to bridge the technological gap between manufacturers and retailers, improving how they work together to sell flooring. Simply, Digital Retailing offers customers a shopping experience where they can easily discover products, seamlessly communicate with a store and navigate the buying process without friction. This new floor buying experience aims to provide significant benefits for both manufacturers and retailers.

By allowing customers to learn about products online, visualize them in their homes and order product samples, retailers are poised to achieve higher close rates and an increase in sales as they engage with knowledgeable, ready-to-buy shoppers.

technologyInspire
Roomvo

It is often said that being able to picture your perfect home is half the battle. For the RSA, having the ability to offer the customer a peak into the real potential every product can make is priceless. That may have been easier said than done, until Roomvo entered the scene with Inspire.

With Roomvo Inspire, which leverages the power of AI, users can upload their rooms and choose from a selection of trending styles (eg. Modern, Japandi, Eclectic and more) to redesign their home. Roomvo Inspire then suggests products, such as surfaces, fixtures, furniture and more, directly from catalogs that match the selected style. Customers can re-design and shop for products that fit their chosen style in one seamless experience.

Measure/Scan
Cyncly

Ease of use is often on the tip of every installer’s or in-home RSA’s lips. To make a successful sale, it takes more than just product, it takes technology capable of making that sale as easy as possible for all parties involved.

Enter Cyncly’s Measure. This product offers a robust set of capabilities designed to streamline the flooring estimation process, helping users achieve greater accuracy, reduce waste and improve profitability on projects of any size. Designed specifically for the flooring industry, it allows users to create precise estimates for carpet, tile, laminate and hardwood flooring and automatically calculating material quantities, seams and cuts for optimal efficiency. It also includes all project details like labor, transitions and add-on products. However, it also includes 3D visualization to render life-like 3D walkthroughs of flooring projects. Cyncly Scan is a newer launch for the technology company but resides under the same platform for seamless integration when designing/measuring in the field. It allows users to create detailed floor plans in seconds. continuing to improve that sales journey for the RSA and their customer.
