Viken, Sweden— Välinge Innovation began a sponsored partnership with the National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) in North America. The NWFA is the leading authority for wood and manufactured wood flooring installations in the U.S. and its training and guidelines for installations are the reference points for the industry.
“This sponsorship is a match made in heaven,” said Ben Goodman, business development manager, Välinge North America. “The NWFA has long been the go-to in the U.S. when it comes to guidelines and training for wood floor installations and Välinge is reinventing real wood flooring for our hardened wood floors with Woodura and 5G Dry Technology.”
As part of the partnership, Välinge Flooring said its hardened wood floors will feature at a selection of NWFA training courses during 2021. Välinge Flooring’s patented surface and floor locking technologies will be highlighted in NWFA training and guidance materials, the company added.
“We believe that hardened wood floor featuring Woodura and a 5G fold-down locking system are the future of real wood flooring,” Goodman added. “We can’t wait to get them into the hands of NWFA-educated installers—new and old—so they can see the huge benefits for themselves. As we say at Välinge: Install fast, retire young.”
The NWFA hands-on training events featuring Välinge Flooring hardened wood floors with Woodura and 5G Dry are as follows:
- New York, July 27-29: Intermediate install
- St. Louis, Mo., Aug. 17-20: Basic install
