Dalton, Ga.—Russ Delozier, director of environmental innovation for J+J Flooring Group, has been honored as one of America’s Top 75 Elite Executives for Environmental Leadership.

The recognition comes from Business Sector Media, LLC, (BSM) a thought leadership institute focused on energy and environmental management. Through its Colorado headquarters, the BSM hosts a multifaceted portfolio of events and high-growth digital media platforms.

Delozier was selected as one of the country’s Top 75 based on J+J’s attention to the potential impacts of every aspect of their business—and an ongoing commitment to measure environmental and social performance with as much stringency as financial performance.

“I have been fortunate to work with a corporate leadership team that not only embraces, but actively challenges me, and our product and operations teams, to think big and execute,” said Delozier. “I am proud of J+J’s progress on our environmental metrics. I am even more proud of our company culture and commitment to transparency, and believe we are making a meaningful difference.”

“We could not be more proud of Russ,” said James Lesslie, president of Engineered Floors’ commercial division, which includes J+J and Engineered Floors Contract. “Talking about sustainability is easy but taking the long, hard road to do what is right requires creativity, vision and relentless dedication. Russ has demonstrated these qualities for years, and it is gratifying to see him recognized in the industry for his leadership.”

Delozier has led J+J’s environmental performance strategies for seven years. Prior to leading J+J’s environmental initiatives, Delozier held a management position at another flooring manufacturer and worked as an engineer at DOW Industries.
