Novalis receives EPD certificate for LVT product

HomePress ReleaseNovalis receives EPD certificate for LVT product

Toronto—In an ongoing effort to be the environmentally conscious leader in the LVT category, Novalis Innovative Flooring has now added the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) to its portfolio of sustainability efforts. Two separate EPDs were independently certified by Underwriter Laboratories (UL): one for Novalis glue-down LVT and the other for Novalis Click LVT.

According to John Wu, president and CEO of Novalis, this latest acknowledgement is the culmination of more than a year of hard work. “EPD certification requires complete transparency regarding raw materials, production, packaging, distribution, end-use and disposal. It also looks at our commitment to sustainability and determination to strive for the highest quality standards in everything we do.”

EPD is an international reporting declaration that, according to UL, helps “architects, designers, specifiers and other purchasers better understand a product’s sustainable qualities and environmental repercussions.”
