Seattle — Bamboo Hardwoods announced that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Bishop Distributing as a new bamboo flooring distributor partner.

Bishop Distributing is full-line, flooring distributor servicing retailers in Michigan, Indiana and western Ohio, and this agreement further expands Bamboo Hardwoods’ existing distribution network.

“Bishop is well-known for representing top-quality flooring products and an already established commercial and residential customer base seeking bamboo flooring, so this partnership is an ideal fit,” said David Keegan, chief operating officer of Bamboo Hardwoods Inc. “They’re also very active within the architecture and design community where bamboo is a great choice—so this partnership will greatly benefit both parties for years to come.”

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Bishop will exclusively represent the entire Bamboo Hardwoods flooring product line of transitions, engineered and solid bamboo flooring options. “We see bamboo flooring as a growing segment of the wood market, so we’re looking forward to now offering top-quality Bamboo Hardwoods branded products towards our customer base,” said Rudy Coipel, vice president of sales and marketing for Bishop Distributing.  “Bamboo Hardwoods’ pedigree of providing a high-quality brand of bamboo flooring as a trusted manufacturer that proudly stands behind their products is something our retailers greatly value.”
