Calhoun, Ga. — Jerry Henderson, senior stylist/designer for Mohawk Group, recently received the Presidential Citation Award of Excellence on behalf of Mohawk from the Georgia Chapter of American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
Henderson was honored at the chapter’s 33rd annual state meeting at The Estate and Gardens in Atlanta. “This is our opportunity to recognize Mr. Henderson and Mohawk for their past, and continuing, support of our ASID Georgia Chapter,” said Shawn Alshut, current ASID Georgia Chapter president. “We especially want to thank them for sponsoring our inaugural Grace Jordan Howard Foundation membership scholarships, to the student designer award winners, in honor of our late executive director Grace Howard.”
Howard served the American Society of Interior Designers Georgia Chapter for 18 years and won numerous awards for her work in the design community.
