Aurora, Colo. – The Fuse Alliance is pleased to announce Invista, the maker of Antron carpet fiber, as the newest Fuse Alliance Preferred Supplier.

“Fuse Alliance members represent the core group of flooring contractors who have grown up believing in the value of technologically advanced engineered fibers manufactured by Invista,” said Ron Lee, executive director, Fuse Alliance.  “We believe Fuse Alliance’s role is providing our members, and therefore their customers, solid business advice on these products allowing them to make the best floorcovering investment decisions.  Our strategic alignment with Invista will provide us with the training and marketing to carry out this responsibility.”

“We’re excited to have this opportunity to officially work more closely with Fuse Alliance members as a Preferred Supplier because this elite group of flooring contractors has the reputation for providing solutions that optimize value and performance for their clients,” said Rachel Lubay, service network manager, Invista.  “This philosophy is strategically aligned with the value proposition of Antron carpet fiber which has long been a trusted resource for every aspect of carpet including product development, design, specification, selection and long-term performance.”

“We value strategic relationships, like this one we now share with the Fuse Alliance, because it strengthens our ability to educate the industry on the environmental impact and importance of selecting products with quality materials for one of the most abused surfaces in any facility, said Marc Ahrens, vice president of Invsita’s commercial flooring segment.   “We find that many in the industry are often surprised to learn that carpets of Antron fiber can last up to 75% longer than the majority of competitive carpets* and play a significant role in reducing environmental affect by reducing premature consumption of resources.”

Invista joins a selective group of manufacturers currently part of Fuse Alliance that includes the industry’s most recognized brands of commercial flooring, accessories and installation products.

* Results are based on testing carpets of comparable construction, style and color.
