West Bloomfield, Mich.  – The Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA) will host its sixth webinar on March 13 at 11:00 am EST.  Jeff Johnson will present “Preparing Post Abatement Treated Subfloors.”

During the course of the webinar, contractors will learn about some of the common problems associated with abatement-treated concrete subfloors as well as a unique and novel way to prepare them for secure subsequent floor installations.

Johnson will review the various chemicals used by abatement companies and why there are often problems for bonding future flooring installations.  By the end of the webinar participants will have learned about test methods to determine moisture content in concrete slabs and have an understanding of the challenges facing floor installation post abatement, including new product solutions.

Register today at www.fcica.com/events/webinars.  Registration deadline is March 12 at 3:00 pm EST.
