EXPORT, PA.—Karndean Designflooring has opened a 54,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom facility in Irving, Tex., about two miles south of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport.

The new facility, in combination with its headquarters here and an existing distribution center/showroom in Las Vegas, will allow Karndean to serve its customers more efficiently. “We were really close to being able to offer deliveries on stocked items within two business days before and, in many cases, met that demand,” said Michael Lang, senior marketing manager. “With this new facility, we’ve taken a step closer to being able to guarantee that timeline. One of the core values by which Karndean operates is ‘Deliver the Promise.’ The new Dallas showroom/warehouse will help us do that.”

The facility, which will primarily service the central corridor of the nation, was needed due to an escalating demand, he noted. “Our warehouse facilities were nearly over capacity for much of the year, and opening up a location in Dallas was a strategic and necessary addition for our growth.”

The facility became fully operational on Jan. 9. Customers are welcome to visit the showroom during regular business hours.
