Through a partnership with Surfaces 2013, CFI Training and Certification is available Jan.29 to 30 on the Mandalay Bay Showroom Floor. The show special provides a great opportunity to be part of the first event of this kind at Surfaces. The Surfaces special price of $495 (savings of over $600) is a value for flooring installers to test in four categories: CFI Carpet Residential I-II and Commercial I-II. All supplies and tools are furnished by the manufacturers.
On the lower floor at B3667, installers can also participate in the two-day training and receive the R-I and C-I categories. The CFI Team of Instructors presents the detailed carpet installation program step-by-step with demonstrations, PowerPoint presentations and hands-on involvement.
Representatives of the sponsors of the CFI booth, Duo-Fast, Healthier Choice, Mapei, Mohawk, Personna, QEP, Seam Master, TRAXX and Wagner Meters are presenting demonstrations of new products and technical information as an enhancement to the program. This is an opportunity to work with new products with instructions by technical personnel. For some, it may be the first time to use a new moisture meter product, a new type of seaming iron, new tools, a new method to install tackstrip, new surface prep products and much more.

On the main floor at the CFI Booth #S6410, televisions will be streaming the training live from the lower floor. CFI members will explain the vast array of training programs and opportunities for sponsorships for carpet, ceramic, resilient, laminate and wood flooring products. Training events are two-day programs that provide the opportunity for certification.
Installers and industry associates who sign up at Surfaces for nationwide training programs can receive the CFI Show Special of $395.00 for a two-day training workshop for the flooring surface of their choice. This is a $100.00 savings and also includes the opportunity to be certified.
