Salem, N.J.— Mannington Mills announced on November 19, 2012, that it will be implementing a price increase of up to 6 percent on all engineered wood floors effective with shipments on December 17, 2012. Increases in log pricing, veneer costs, and transportation costs have made this increase necessary.
“We are experiencing dramatic increases in raw material pricing , which have driven our costs up to a point where passing along a price increase can no longer be avoided,” said Kim Holm, president, residential business at Mannington Mills.
“We continue to be optimistic about the economic recovery and the future of our industry,” Holm noted.
