Durkan, the hospitality brand of the Mohawk Group, is pleased to announce Mark Page has joined the organization as the Senior Director of Color and Design. Page brings almost three decades of flooring design knowledge and industry experience to the position, most recently serving as the Vice President of Design and Marketing for Brintons. In his new role with Durkan, Page will lead and direct the global design team, imparting strategic creative direction for Durkan’s Print and CYP business.

“Mark has a sterling reputation in hospitality design and we are absolutely delighted to welcome him to the Durkan team,” said Lee Blair, Global Head of Hospitality, Mohawk Industries. “Mark’s innovative ideas and results-driven leadership style will allow us to further strengthen Durkan’s position as the design leader in hospitality carpet. Truly, his expertise cannot be overstated.”

Page has a long history of inspiring designers and sales professionals. He has served in a wide range of roles, beginning his 25-year career with Brintons as a designer of custom Axminster carpets. Page then rose through the company ranks, gaining insight into the American hospitality market, first as an international designer, and then as a sales leader and consultant to the A & D community. In his most recent position as Vice President of Marketing and Design for Brintons, Page directed a team of more than 20 designers and maintained a leadership role in brand management.

The Durkan design team is very strong, and I look forward to working together to expand Durkan’s innovative product offerings to bring even greater value to our hospitality customers.”

Page is a graduate of the prestigious Stourbridge Arts & Design College in the UK.
