HomeNewsVälinge terminates two Chinese license agreements

Viken, Sweden — Välinge has terminated its license agreements on glueless mechanical locking system with the Chinese laminate producers Jiangsu Better Decorative Materials Co. and Changzhou Haokai Decorative Materials Co. The licenses are terminated due to non-compliance with the contractual provisions of each license agreement.

The companies Jiangsu Better Decorative Materials Co. and Changzhou Haokai Decorative Materials Co. can from now on no longer claim to be a licensee of Välinge, nor can the companies continue to produce products utilizing this unique patented technology to their customers under their now terminated agreements. The companies have been holding a license for Välinge’s 2G locking system since 2011, used on their laminate products.

Välinge is committed to defend its Intellectual Properties and will not hesitate to take legal actions against any company not respecting these rights. It shall be clear that any sourcing of products violating the Välinge patents are regarded as infringement where actions will be taken by Välinge.
