DALTON—As flooring retailers throughout the U.S. begin preparing for the 2012 selling season, Shaw Floors is announcing the “Power Up” Winter Markets, a lineup of the company’s 2012 product, display and program introductions.
During Shaw’s winter market events, the company will unveil a variety of new introductions within the successful Anso nylon and ClearTouch brands, and additionally within the new HGTV Home Flooring by Shaw program. Tuftex, the premier carpet division of Shaw, will also display a variety of new stylish and luxurious carpets. In the hard surfaces realm, new floors will be introduced in the Epic hardwood collection, as well as visuals in the solid hardwood, laminate, resilient and tile & stone categories.
In conjunction with Shaw’s hard surface companies, Anderson and Zickgraf, several new hardwood styles will also be introduced. Additionally, Anderson will be unveiling refreshed displays that reflect the company’s flagship Anderson and Virginia Vintage brands, the result of revitalized branding changes to be unveiled in 2012.
“These beautiful, patriotic new displays and updated programs are truly inspired by Anderson’s history and commitment to American-made products and sustainability,” said Jeff Sills, executive vice president of sales.
During the annual January and February regional winter market shows, Shaw retailers will experience new Shaw floors and displays, and have the opportunity to meet individually with Shaw associates. The one-on-one meetings provide time for marketing strategy, sales technique discussions and new program consideration.
“While the economic downturn has been at the forefront of public attention for quite some time now, we know our retailers are ready to roll up their sleeves and welcome in consumers who have been waiting to purchase Shaw floors. At this year’s “Power Up” markets, we’ll be unveiling great new products that meet needs in the marketplace at competitive price points,” said Steve Sieracki, vice president of marketing. “This is our time to network with our retailers, hear their stories of successes and challenges and discuss new Shaw marketing initiatives and program options for the year ahead. This will be a very energetic market season, so we’re calling on all retailers to come prepared for a transformational event.”
“These shows provide an unsurpassed individualized experience for the Shaw retailer that has become a defining characteristic of Shaw markets,” said Kathy Young, Shaw’s director of marketing. “We’re looking forward to specific planning and inspiring conversation for an energetic start to 2012 with our highly-anticipated winter markets.”
