Adairsville, Ga.— Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Home Legend has acquired the assets of Baker’s Creek Wood Flooring based in Edwards, Miss. Baker’s Creek is a manufacturer of engineered wood flooring.

This acquisition expands Home Legend’s product line and gives the company U.S.-based manufacturing capacity with the Baker’s Creek manufacturing plant built in 2007. Prior to this acquisition, Home Legend’s engineered wood products were produced in China.

According to Clint Hubbard, Home Legend’s CEO, “This acquisition not only reduces our dependence on foreign supply for engineered hardwood, but it also gives us a high-quality, upper-end extension to our existing product line.”

He added all Baker’s Creek employees will remain and Home Legend plans to expand the facility.
