ATLANTA—Wools of New Zealand’s (WONZ) annual Fashion Dynamics competition during Surfaces was successful in drawing retailers to the wool area and exposing them to the innovative styling of its mill partners, noted Elise Demboski, executive director. This year’s contest included 36 WONZ and Laneve brand products, which were voted on for Best Overall and Best Color Line.

Judging took place over a two-day period with eve of the second day and awards presented to the first- and second-place winners. The top two winners in each category were: Best over- all WONZ brand carpet, first place: Monaco Collection by Nourison, runner up: North Shore by Stanton; Best overall Laneve brand carpet, first place: Sonoran by Decorative Carpets, runner up: Dartmouth by Prestige; Best color line WONZ brand carpet, first place: Mini Squares by Hagaman, run- ner up: Latisse by Nourison; Best color line Laneve brand carpet, first place: Matrix by J. Mish, runner up: Baroque by Masland.
